Reception/Care Coordinator Position

JOB DESCRIPTION/ SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the front desk area of the clinic. Duties also include front desk reception, scheduling, maintenance of patient charts, dealing with medical insurance and medical billing, and upholding rules and regulations relating to confidential patient information. Expected to participate in the day-to-day operation of the clinic. Participates in the workflow of the clinic to help ensure an effective, efficient and friendly environment for patients. Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Education: minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associates or college diploma ideal.
2. Experience: Health care experience preferred.
3. Skills: Must demonstrate the ability to operate computer software. General knowledge of record keeping and accounting. Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

JOB RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Practice Manager. Works in total cooperation and harmony with all staff.

COMPENSATION:

$17-$18/hour (Compensation based on office experience/medical office experience)

40 hours/week

Schedule Days: Monday through Friday  Hours: 8-4:45, Monday – Thursday; 8-12:30 Friday
